An additional turning center and a specialized worm gear cutting machine ensure shorter and more flexible delivery times and high process reliability. The machines are use for the production of high-precision and safety-relevant gear components for spoiler drives in the area of aerodynamics for sports cars. These investments combined with the increase in know-how and our existing technologies guarantee the highest level of customer satisfaction.
New project drives for convertible roofs Classic Roadster is in full process. The convertible roof drives for Classic Roadster are being launched for a Bavarian automotive group. For this purpose, gearing calculations as well as the complete transmission design and definition of the housing geometries were already performed. The first injection tools could be released just 3 months after the kick-off. The rapid progress of the project ensures that the first drives will be delivered to the customer as early as April 2020.
The sps trade fair was again a complete success for us. We were able to inspire new suppliers and customers for us. Among other things, high-precision gear parts for the area of spoiler adjustment were presented at the trade fair. A new drive in the field of building automation for moving glass fronts also attracted the attention of visitors. All in all we had successful three days and we are already looking forward to sps 2020
Primus Präzisionstechnik exhibited at IZB in Wolfsburg for the first time. Many interesting conversations were held and contacts made.
New measuring machine for measuring tooth widths and lengths to 0.8 µm.

First successful certification in line with IATF 16949:2016
For fiscal year 2016, Primus Präzisionstechnik achieved a new sales record. Sales rose by 20% compared to the previous year.
The increase in sales is based on increases in sales volumes for long-term serial products and from the transfer of development projects to series production.

Due to the increased requirements, we have replaced our degreasing and cleaning plant. The facility offers the following options:
- Recoverable activated carbon unit
- Automatic movement of goods
- Ultrasonic with 1.0KW / 25 Hz
- Highly effective filter unit
- Vacuum drying
With this modernization, we will continue to ensure the ability to deliver against our customers in the future.
Already in the second half of 2015 the capacities in the field of rotating production were expanded by an additional CNC turning center, two milling centers (4-axis system with integrated pallet exchange feed towers) and an additional CNC gearing center.
We have advanced this expansion and put another modern CNC-controlled turning center in operation into operation in April.
With these extensions, we will continue to ensure our ability to deliver against our customers in the future.
